Ohio Transportation Engineering Conference
Columbus, Ohio
October 27, 2022
Michael Kollin attended the Ohio Transportation Engineering Conference (OTEC) this week in Columbus, Ohio.
It was great to reconnect with several of our engineering partners at the expo including Stantec, Kimley-Horn, and Gannett Fleming to name a few. Although we specialize in hospitality design, it’s important to stay abreast of all aspects relating to our industry, including the infrastructure to sustain a successful project, economic development opportunities, and the future of the built environment.
While not the most glamourous side of our work, most projects have specific parking requirements that must be met. With the ever-changing needs of ride sharing, increased demand for EV charging stations at resorts, and other related demands, it's beneficial to become more familiar with these transportation related issues.
