Michael Kollin attended this year’s annual International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) Conference held in Prague, Czech Republic. Hospitality experts from all across the globe representing 20+ countries gathered for this 3-day event to connect and discuss global trends and the future of our industry.
It was great to spend time with old friends and associates and make new connections, while gaining insights into sustainability practices, changing consumer behavior, and the latest trends within the hospitality and travel industry.
A panel of experts spoke about the future of wellness hospitality with conversations on trends in spa design, the role fitness plays in hospitality, mental health, and ways to incorporate these programs in hospitality, while exploring the economic impact of wellness at a property level.
The closing session presented by Herman Konings of Pocket Marketing, provided an inspiring and eye-opening presentation on Hospitality Travel & Changing Consumer Behavior. A special thanks to ISHC Chair Todd Leach, and Andrea Belfanti, Jennifer Castellarin, Christophe De Bruyn, and Wolfgang Gattringer for a very well-organized event filled with interesting educational sessions.
