Frenchman’s Reef Grand Opening
St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
January 18, 2024
Following the completion of an extensive $425 million restoration and rebuild project at the iconic resort property, Frenchman's Reef has finally cut the ribbon in celebration of the official grand opening of their two new resorts: The 392-room Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman's Reef and its sister property, the 94-room Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort, Autograph Collection. The hotels are interconnected to offer two distinctive Caribbean resort experiences in St. Thomas.

Our team is thrilled to have played a role in restoring this property, and to finally celebrate this momentous occasion with an unforgettable evening of music, entertainment and cheer across both resorts. U.S. Virgin Islands Governor Albert Bryan Jr. and Joseph B Boschulte took part in ushering in this new chapter of travel and tourism for the U.S. Virgin Islands. Frenchman's Reef presented a $20,000 donation to the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Education, specifically benefitting the hospitality programs of two local high schools.

Together, the two resorts encompass a 17-acre site and offer guests a total of 486 guestrooms and suites, four pools, wellness spa and fitness studios, multiple bars/lounges, and restaurants, Kid's Club, retail outlets, adventure beach, and 85,000 square-feet of meeting and event space.
