Wins 2019 ENR Best Projects Award

The Four Seasons Hotel Austin Modernization project has won a 2019 Best Projects Award from Engineering News-Record (ENR) in the Interior/Tenant Improvement category- ENR Texas/Louisiana region.

An ENR Best Projects Award is considered one of commercial construction’s most prestigious and coveted honors, selected by juries of prominent and experienced industry professionals.

Kollin Altomare was the architect of record for Strategic Hotels and Resorts' multi-million transformation project which features a completely revamped nature-inspired lobby, lobby bar & lounge (Live Oak), restaurant (Ciclo), expansive new lobby loggia for al fresco dining overlooking Lady Bird Lake, meeting areas, and fitness center expansion.

Key project team members, led by our senior project architect/manager Ron Javier, AIA include: Chris Alex - principal; Aaron Guildford - job captain; Whitespace Interiors; GMLD - lighting design; IMEG Corp - structural, mechanical, electrical/tech design; Big Red Dog - civil engineer; Shepherd Food Equipment - food service design; Pharis Design - landscape design; and Turner Construction.
