Fond Farewell to Our Summer Intern
Skye Schofield-Saba
June 14, 2024
We wish our summer intern Skye Schofield-Saba well as she returns to Tulane University for her second year to complete her degree in Architecture.
We have enjoyed having her with us for a one-month design internship during her summer break. Originally from the DC area, this was Skye’s first trip to the West Coast. During her short stint in our Long Beach, California office, she experienced working with senior leadership, architects, and design staff on a variety of projects and tasks. She also had an opportunity to visit a few of our project job sites in development—including The Beverly Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club.
To help her experience first-hand how an architecture firm functions, she participated in weekly project calls, assisted with our product library, networked with other design industry professionals, and learned some new rendering software. We have thoroughly enjoyed her presence, fresh perspective, and fun personality in our office. We will miss her but wish her well back at Tulane and into her future career.
“It was great to learn what architecture is like in the real world—something I couldn’t learn in school. Thanks so much for the experience and for welcoming me to the team!”
