Michael Kollin spoke on a hospitality design panel at the second annual Hospitality Product Supply (HPS) Conference held at the Marriott Bayfront hotel in San Diego August 6-8. Principal architect Christopher Alex also attended.
The HPS Conference & Summit is a unique hospitality supplier trade show and conference providing attendees with an enjoyable and adventurous way to interact with the top hotel bath fixture manufacturers and industry professionals while experiencing the latest in product innovation and design. The event includes hotel design and development discussions, supplier innovations, networking, dining and an array of recreational activities.
The conference kicked off with a welcome ceremony at the Maritime Museum before boarding the Star of India for dinner and a tour of this and a few other historic sea vessels. On day two after checking out the trade show floor, the group headed to Del Mar Race Track for lunch at the Del Mar Turf Club on the finish line, followed by a private dinner in Del Mar. Day three's events included an inspiring guest speaker, followed by hospitality professional key note speakers who provided industry insights and interactions.
