San Gabriel Plaza Mixed-Use Condos & Retail Set to Rise

We recently completed revisions to the initial concept/entitlement package presented to the City of San Gabriel for this mixed-use condominium and retail development at 220 South San Gabriel Blvd.

The proposed development for San Gabriel Square, LLC will replace a series of single-story commercial buildings, small residences, and surface parking to make way for a trio of low-rise structures (five to six stories) featuring 149 residential units and 28,665 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

Situated on a 3.59-acre site, the proposed design includes a mix of one- and two-bedroom units, as well as parking for basement and enclosed surface parking for up to 585 vehicles and open public and private open spaces.

City approval is slated for January 2019 with construction anticipated to start in Sept 2019.  Expected to take place in three phases over the course of approximately 52 months, construction would conclude in December 2023.  Our team includes Brian Husting and Bryan Pliez, as well as LandLab - landscape architect, and Focus Engineering - civil.
