Hotel June Receives Hospitality Gold Award
LA Business Journal 2021 Commercial Real Estate Awards
February 24, 2021
We’re pleased to announce Hotel June has received a Hospitality Gold Award from the Los Angeles Business Journal in their 26th annual Commercial Real Estate Awards. Congratulations to Proper Hospitality, The Kor Group, Playa Proper JV, LLC, and entire team.

Kollin Altomare was challenged to reimagine the original 250-room mid-century structure, while preserving the work of legendary LA architect Welton Beckett. Named to reflect new beginnings and a year-round summer sensibility, the Hotel June opened its doors on June 22 on Los Angeles’ Westside, marking a new chapter for @properhotels.

Airy and cozy, the lifestyle hotel features spacious, modern rooms and suites with sweeping city and coastal views. The design blends clean lines with light and warm natural woods, local art, handmade tiles, and custom furnishings. Interior design by Venice-based Studio-Collective; construction by Reaume Richardson (aka City Constructors).
