The Lotus Casino addition is a 15,000 sq. ft. expansion of the existing casino in the Vietnamese community of southern Sacramento. It is constructed in three phases to allow the existing casino to maintain its gaming operations during construction. The distinctive architecture is reminiscent of French Colonial architectural style in Viet Nam.
The casino showcases an impressive central chandelier shape as a lotus blossom above the main gaming room. To cater to the local market, the casino features a handsome VIP Gaming Salon and even a VVIP Room for high limit players. When completed, the existing kitchen area will be expanded to provide food service to the players. A new Lounge was relocated to be adjacent the main gaming area to be more convenient for players. Two smoking terraces are provided in an enclosed patio with a trellis cover and landscaping.
The interiors were designed by Shema Dougall Design Associates of Pasadena.
