As much as we love working on our huge hospitality and commercial projects (and we do!), it is also very important to us at Kollin Altomare Architects to do charitable work that positively impacts our community. One of our current projects is a collaboration with Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles to design a fanciful Wish Room that will help bring joy to exceptional children battling terminal illness. The holiday season is upon us once again, and here at Kollin Altomare Architects, it really is the most wonderful time of the year! We’re as busy as ever, so happy to see (and share) photos of our recently completed work, and eagerly anticipating new projects on the horizon.

One of our biggest new projects is a comprehensive remodel of the Washington Marriott Georgetown hotel in Washington, D.C. As the architect of record, KAA is working with Whitespace Interiors and the Getty’s Group to design the hotel’s public spaces, including the lobby, ballrooms, meeting rooms and fitness center. We will also contribute the design for the hotel’s M-Club bar and club lounge.

As a part of this huge project, we will also provide designs for the renovation of 470 guestrooms, as well as the guestroom corridors, exterior façade redesign, and building enhancement and branding. We are excited to begin this important project and can’t wait to share progress reports with you all along the way!
